This facility was initially used to produce Aircraft during the world war era. Later, the facility was bought by the Jaguar Company. The facility then went under the ownership of Ford before finally getting under the name of Tata Group.

It is a self-sufficient plant as far as manufacturing is concerned. Body Stamping, Body Assembly, Trimming, and Painting, the company performs it all within this assembly plant for Jaguar cars.

The company currently manufactures Jaguar XE, Jaguar XF, and Jaguar F-Type cars in this plant.

Previously, the company also manufactured Jaguar XK, Jaguar XJ, and Jaguar S-Type. The plant company later discontinued the production of these models.

In England, the only plant beside the Birmingham plant where Jaguar manufactures its cars lies in Lode Lane, Solihull, UK.

3. Manufacturing of Jaguar Cars in India:

In 2011, the parent company, Jaguar Land Rover, opened its first-ever manufacturing plant in India.
