2. Manufacturing Plants in Russia:

In 2015, Great Wall Motors announced the construction of its first overseas production factory outside China. The company decided to construct the factory in Russia.

GWM started constructing this factory in Uzlovaya Industrial Park, Tula, in 2017.

This plant holds significant importance as it is the first Chinese vehicle plant in Russia with four production processes. Tula plant is spread over 2.16 million square meters and took 18 million rubies to complete.

Within two years, the factory started its operations with bulk production of Haval cars. What’s exciting is that it can produce more than 150,000 cars annually.

This plant is located in Rayong. After renovation, production at this plant rolled off in June 2021. For factory up-gradation and Electric Vehicles production, the company invested THB 22 billion. The first cars manufactured here were the Haval H6.
